More patents from Olympus – 12-60mm, 12-70mm, 12-80mm, 12-95mm, 12-120mm, and 14-70mm?

Olympus is at it again. This time, they filed patents for the following lenses:

• 12-60mm f/4-5.6
• 12-70mm f/4-5.6
• 12-80mm f/4-5.6
• 12-95mm f/4-5.6
• 12-120mm f/4-5.6
• 14-70mm f/4-5.6

Odd choices, right? To tell you the truth, I would prefer 12-120mm over the current due to my preference towards wide angle. Plus, if you need more reach, there’s always Panasonic option. Other than this, other options look rather, well, yawn….
