DXOMark has published their test results for the Sony RX1. Within the article, they compare the RX1
against Nikon full-frame pair – D800
and D600
. Given that both uses the Sony sensor, you expect similar results and the test proves that they do. The color depth and DR are very similar between the 3 of them. But for some reason, the RX1
performs not quite at the level that the D600
does in low-light photography, hence resulting in the 4th position behind them. They also compare the RX1
against other compact fixed lens models – Fuji X100
and Sony RX100.
Understandably, there’s no comparison in these cases – RX1
comes out way ahead in all aspects. Check this review out.
