Fuji to release new firmwares for X-Pro 1 and X-E1 on Jan 18th!

According to Fujirumors, Fuji will be releasing new firmware updates for both X-Pro 1 and X-E1. Ah and also for the Fujinon 35mm f/1.4 lens.

What’s new for X-Pro 1:

• Allows compatibility with the new Fujinon XF14mm f/2.8 lens.
• Improved performance of Auto Focus under various shooting conditions

What’s new for X-E1:

• Improved performance of Auto Focus under various shooting conditions
• Shutter release button now works when an external remote release is connected
• Improved performance of Auto Focus under various shooting conditions
• Audio performance has been optimised for the new Stereo Microphone MIC-ST1 (sold separately).

What’s new for Fujinon 35mm f/1.4:

• Improved accuracy of Auto Focus performance.
