According to Canonrumors, there will be 3 new lenses coming for the EF-M mount. The first lens will be a 55-300mm lens and no doubt this will not be a bright lens. Second will be a fast prime lens, and third will be a super zoom.
Also, the rumor says that there will be the follow-up (or is it going to sit higher up in the line-up) model to the EOS M, perhaps to be called EOS M
2, with a built-in EVF, and hopefully (more like MUST!) an improved AF mechanism. Despite featuring a hybrid AF system, EOS M
is probably THE slowest AF mirrorless model at the moment.
All they are willing to say for now, is that the announcements will be before April.
